Day One – join the vessel in Harbor Island. This is a beautiful island off northern Eleuthera with pink sand beaches. It is a well maintained island that is favored by many celebrities. 2 – stay at or near Harbor Island. Drive around the “town” in a golf cart, ride a horse on the beach, or head out to the “flats” with a guide for some bonefishing. A beautiful bay provides a great venue for jet and water skiing. 3 – with our pilot onboard, there is an hour transit out of Harbor Island through the reefs called the “Devil’s Backbone.” Go to anchor off of Current Cut or Royal Cay. We could do a drift dive through the cut and play with the jetskis non-stop. 4 – move to Highbourne Cay. This is a great place to base in the northern Exumas for just about any water sport. Enjoy a perfect sunset view while drinking margaritas in the Jacuzzi. 5 – Continue to enjoy the area. Do a wall dive, go fishing for dolphin, or enjoy the almost deserted beaches on the ocean or banks side of the island. 6– Move to Allan’s Cay and go visit the lizards. These large amphibians are native to the Bahamas. Tens of them, some up to 4 feet long, will come out to visit you when you land on the beach. More water sports and perhaps a snorkeling visit to a wrecked airplane at Norman’s Cay. 7 - we can move to another small island, perhaps Norman’s Cay or Shroud Cay and enjoy more beach activities or return to Nassau and play at Atlantis Resort. 8 – Depart from Nassau.
Don’t forget that we will have the 30’ Intrepid with us at this time. This is a perfect boat for diving, snorkeling, fishing, or just plain island-hopping. |
